BOB GADDY is a big name in New York City blues and R&B history. He recorded for the Dot and Old Town labels, worked with Brownie McGhee, Sonny Terry, and Champion Jack Dupree, and often joined forces with guitarists Larry Dale and "Wild Man" Jimmy Spruill, who played sessions for legendary producer Bobby Robinson. This album is Bob Gaddy alone at the piano in a club in NYC, recorded by the late Muddy Waters sideman PAUL OSCHER, with whom he played in his later years.
